NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- LSU senior tight end Foster Moreau became the third Tiger selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, the fourth-round pick of the Oakland Raiders.

Moreau, the 137th overall pick, wore No. 18 during his senior season at LSU, a jersey number handed down each season to leaders on and off the field

Moreau, who graduated from LSU in December, participated in the 2019 Senior Bowl after catching 22 passes for 272 yards with two touchdowns in the 2018 season. He caught 52 passes in his four-year career for 629 yards with six touchdowns.

Moreau became the first Tigers tight end drafted since 2008 when Keith Zinger was a seventh-round pick of the Carolina Panthers.

Earlier in the draft, LSU linebacker Devin White was the fifth overall selection by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Greedy Williams was the second-round pick of the Cleveland Browns.

Rounds 4-7 are being selected on Saturday.
