BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU women’s golfer Sydney Cavin was named to the 2018 SEC Community Service Team today as announced by the conference office. It is second consecutive season that the senior from Baton Rouge has earned the honor.

Cavin continues to be a team leader in the area of community service, working with the squad’s freshmen to assist students on LSU Move-In Day in August. She participated in Thanksgiving with the Tigers and the team’s relief efforts for those affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Cavin also participates in the ‘Dreams Come True’ program in conjunction with the Country Club of Louisiana. She recently completed her eligibility and has set out on a professional career.
