Roger Cador Night – LSU will make a special pregame presentation to former Southern baseball coach Roger Cador. Cador was Southern’s coach from 1985-2017, and he led the Jaguars to 14 SWAC titles and 11 NCAA Tournament appearances.
“We just finished the first half of a 10-games-in-13-days stretch; we played five games last week, and we have five very challenging games this week. I think our young men are up to that challenge because the more you play, the better you get. Tuesday night will be special because we’re going to honor Roger Cador, who is one of the legends of college baseball. He’s done so much for the game, for young people and for our community, and I thought it was fitting that we honor him with a special tribute before the game.”
· LSU won four of five games last week, and the Tigers are No. 13 in this week’s Collegiate Baseball poll, marking the 118th consecutive week the Tigers have appeared in the poll.
