Ten Tigers Set to Participate at NFL Combine

BATON ROUGE – Ten LSU football players will be in Indianapolis over the span of the next four days to take part in the biggest job interview for any college football player – the NFL Combine.
The NFL Combine starts the on-field portion of events on Friday with the running backs and offensive linemen going through a variety of drills and testing. They will be followed by quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends on Saturday, defensive linemen and linebackers on Sunday and defensive backs on Monday.

LSU’s 10 NFL Combine participants include: three offensive linemen in Will Clapp, K.J. Malone and Toby Weathersby, a pair running backs in Derrius Guice and Darrel Williams, two cornerbacks in Donte Jackson and Kevin Toliver, quarterback Danny Etling, defensive back Donte Jackson, and linebacker Arden Key.
The NFL Combine, which features hundreds of college football players trying to improve their NFL stock, will be televised on the NFL Network. Each position group goes through four days of testing, which includes everything from interviews with NFL franchises, to on-field drills, and on-field workouts.
The NFL Draft takes place on April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
