Parker, who played mostly as a central attacking midfielder in her debut season with the Tigers, will slot into the back line as a defender at the Nike International Tournament where she has honed skills both as a youth player for England and Arsenal Ladies prior to her arrival in Baton Rouge.

A native of Cambridge, England, Parker represented England at the U-15, U-17 and U-19 levels before signing her National Letter of Intent with the Tigers as part of their recruiting Class of 2017.

She ended her freshman season with three goals and four assists this fall to finish as LSU’s third-leading scorer on the year. Parker found the net in her collegiate debut in a 5-0 win over Mississippi Valley State on Aug. 18 before also scoring the winner in a 1-0 win over Liberty on Sept. 10 and the opening goal in a 2-1 home win over Georgia on Oct. 5 in Southeastern Conference play. She set a season-high with three points in the win over Georgia as Parker later assisted Alex Thomas’ winner in the 87th minute.
