GEISMAR – LSU men’s basketball coach Will Wade earlier this week spoke to close to 1,800 workers at Shell’s Tiger AO4 Project about team work and safety awareness.

The 1,800 construction workers ranked from pipe fitters to crane operators that are involved in building the new AO4 project at the Geismar plant.

Coach Wade, entering his first year as head basketball coach at LSU, spoke about self-awareness and consistency, reminding the workers to be consistent with everything they did. Coach Wade explained that the team that consistently pays attention to details will consistently achieve their goal and maintain a safe work environment.

Coach Wade asked everyone to raise their hands, then asked them to raise them higher. His point was that everyone has a little more to give, a little extra when needed.
