SEC Announces Women's Basketball Broadcast Package

BATON ROUGE – The Southeastern Conference announced the broadcast networks and start times for its 2017-18 women’s basketball schedule on Wednesday.

LSU will open its conference schedule on Sunday, Dec. 31, on the SEC Network at 3 p.m. at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center against Vanderbilt. Season tickets and information about LSU women’s basketball games for 2017-18 are available at

The Lady Tigers, under the direction of seventh-year head coach Nikki Fargas, will appear seven times on the SEC Network, while the remaining conference games will be institutionally-produced for the SEC Network+. The first three days of the SEC Tournament, February 28-March 4 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, will also be televised on the SEC Network while the semifinals will air on ESPNU and the championship game on ESPN2.

“We are excited for our fans around the world to be able to see all of our SEC games this season,” said Fargas. “Having the ability to showcase our team through the SEC Network , the SEC Network+ and the Watch ESPN app brings us to a whole new audience.”

Fans of the Lady Tigers will be able to access the SEC Network on computers, smartphones, tablets and other connected devices with their video subscription from an affiliated provider.

LSU will produce all home non-conference games on SEC Network+ as well.
