BATON ROUGE – The honoring of Bert Jones for his selection to the 2016 College Football Hall of Fame will be one of the many highlights for the LSU-Ole Miss game on Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. Kickoff between the Tigers and Rebels is set for 8:15 p.m. and the game will be televised on ESPN.

Jones, LSU’s first consensus All-America quarterback in 1972, will be recognized on the field at the first time of the game on Saturday.

Other highlights on campus leading up to kickoff on Saturday night include Cowboy Mouth performing at the Zatarain’s Tiger One Village starting at 4 p.m.; the LSU football team, along with football alumni, walking down “Victory Hill” at 5:50 p.m.; and the Golden Band from Tigerland street performance on North Stadium at 6:10 p.m.

The band’s pre-game show in Tiger Stadium will take place at 7:59 and head coach Ed Orgeron will lead the Tigers out of the tunnel and onto the field at 8:12.
