BATON ROUGE – LSU has sold out of season football tickets for the 12th straight season as 74,350 season tickets have been purchased for the 2015 home schedule, Associate Athletics Director for Ticket Operations Brian Broussard announced.

The 74,350 season tickets sold ties the school record which was set last year when Tiger Stadium was expanded to seat over 100,000. With the expansion to Tiger Stadium, LSU was able to offer nearly 6,000 additional season tickets. Prior to last year, LSU’s record for season ticket sales was 68,772, which was done three straight years from 2011-13.

LSU has sold out of season tickets every year dating back to the 2004 season when 66,232 season tickets were sold the year after the Tigers won the BCS National Championship.

The Tigers open their 11th season under head coach Les Miles on Saturday, Sept. 5 when LSU welcomes McNeese State to Tiger Stadium. Kickoff for the season-opener is set for 6:30 p.m. and will be televised on the SEC Network Alternate channel. LSU Season Ticket Sales (since 1999)
