BATON ROUGE – The Southeastern Conference began a week of basketball schedule announcements with the game times and networks for the annual SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

LSU will play in the event for the first time this year, traveling to Morgantown to face the University of West Virginia at 6 p.m. CT in a game to be televised by ESPN2. It will be one of four games on what is the second night of the four-night event.

This will be the first time the teams have met since a home-and-home series in 2004 in Baton Rouge and 2005 in Morgantown. The team split the games with LSU winning in overtime in Morgantown, 71-68. Those are the only meetings in a series tied at 1-1.
