Ten Tigers Named to SEC Media Preseason Teams

BATON ROUGE -- On the final day of 2014 SEC Media Days, the league announced the results of the media's preseason predicted order of finish along with its preseason All-SEC Teams.

Led by offensive tackle La'el Collins, 10 Tigers appeared on the three preseason teams, while the Tigers were picked third in the SEC's Western Division.

Collins was named to the first team, while offensive lineman Vadal Alexander, cornerback Tre'Davious White, all-purpose runner Terrence Magee and placekicker Colby Delahoussaye were each on the second team. Defensive end Jermauria Rasco, linebacker Kwon Alexander, safety Corey Thompson, cornerback Rashard Robinson and punter Jamie Keehn were selected to the third team.

* - 293 voters is an all-time high for SEC media days. The previous high was 243 in 2013.
* - The top vote-getters in 2014 were Amari Cooper (Alabama), T.J. Yeldon (Alabama) and Todd Gurley (Georgia). All three were voted to the preseason media team as well in 2013.
* - Since 2000, Arkansas’ Darren McFadden is the only unanimous selection to the SEC Media Days Team, collecting all 80 votes that year.
* - Alabama had the most first-team selections this season with nine. Since 1992, the most players on a first-team were also nine by Alabama in 2011 and eight by Alabama (2010) and Florida (2009).
