Bayou Country Superfest begins Friday, May 23

BATON ROUGE - LSU's Tiger Stadium will host the Bayou Country Superfest on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The following is a list of parking, traffic, and road closure information for this weekend's event:

  • All advanced parking for the Bayou Country Superfest has been sold out.
  • Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in the following lots:
    Lot 202/203 (Dalrymple Drive) - $30
    Lot 108 (Skip Bertman Drive) - $30
    Lot 406 (Skip Bertman Drive) - $20
    Lot 408 (Gourrier Lane) - $15
    Lot 409 (Gourrier Lane) - $20
  • All parking in the first-come, first-served lots will be CASH only.

Vehicle parking lots will be open on event days beginning at 9 a.m. There will be no overnight parking allowed in the vehicle parking lots. Any vehicles left overnight may be towed.

ADA parking spaces will be available in Lot 108 for $30.  Shuttle transportation from Lot 108 to the stadium will be available for ADA festivalgoers beginning at 9am each day.

In addition, North Stadium Drive and South Stadium Drive will be closed to vehicular traffic starting at 7 a.m. each day. Parking lots surrounding Tiger Stadium will be restricted to advance sale permitted vehicles only. Those vehicles without permits will be directed to public parking once they reach these restricted areas.

Most parking is located on the west side of Tiger Stadium and is easiest to access from Nicholson Drive. Fans are discouraged from using the Dalrymple Drive campus entrance as there is no direct route to west side parking lots from that entrance.

LSU has also issued the following in-stadium information for fans planning to attend the Bayou Country Superfest.

  • Stadium Gates Open:
    4 p.m. – Friday     
    3 p.m. – Saturday and Sunday

The following items are prohibited:

  • Coolers, ice chests, bottles, cans, cups (or containers of any kind)
  • Backpacks of any kind (all sizes)
  • Bags and Purses larger than 8.5” x 11”   
  • Outside food and drinks
  • Umbrellas
  • Any type of artificial noisemakers
  • Pets of any variety (except for service animals)
  • Video cameras
  • Still photography cameras that utilize detachable lenses
  • Audio recording equipment
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Banners/flags/poles of any kind

Fans should be prepared for high temperatures:

  • Dress lightly and stay cool
  • Use sunscreen and protect yourself
  • Hydrate before the weekend and during the weekend with water and electrolytes        
  • Seek help if you begin to feel dizzy or sick – plenty of event staff, medical first aid and law enforcement will be on hand to assist

The West side of Tiger Stadium is the primary entrance.  There will be only limited entry on the east side southeast corner of the stadium due to construction zones.

Fans are encourage to enter through the primary gates 1-6 on the west side
