Men's Tennis Travels to Face Rival Tulane
NEW ORLEANS – The LSU men’s tennis team will travel to Tulane on Wednesday afternoon for its final nonconference match of the season at 3 p.m. at the City Park Pepsi Tennis Center.
“This is a big match for us to gain some momentum for a final push toward the SEC and NCAA tournaments,” said LSU head coach Jeff Brown.
LSU trails Tulane 28-45-2 in the match series, which includes a 7-0 win in favor of the Tigers in 2013 at Dub Robinson Stadium.
LSU (11-12, 2-9 SEC) is coming off of a tough stretch after competing against its third consecutive top 20 team, No. 8 Georgia, and falling 4-0. The Green Wave (13-6, 3-2 C-USA) has not played since March 30 against UTSA, which ended in the Green Wave favor with a 5-2 win.
