BATON ROUGE, La. – Men’s team captain Frank Greeff has qualified for the 2014 Men’s NCAA Championships March 28-30 at the Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas.
“We are excited to have Frank qualify for his second year,” said LSU swimming coach Dave Geyer, “we realize making the meet isn’t his only goal. His goal is to improve on his performance from last year at this meet. It’s nice to have support from Michael Saco, Tyler Crosson, Marco Gonzalez and Alexander Linge.”
Saco, Crosson, Gonzalez and Linge will join Greeff for the sprint-freestyle relays.
This season, Greeff set the school record in the 200 butterfly with a time of 1:43.66. The junior also owns the second and third-fastest times in the 200 IM and 100 Butterfly. Greeff was also a part of the 800-freestyle relay and 400-medley relay teams that set program records last season.
