BATON ROUGE – LSU junior Jessie Jordan earned the Southeastern Conference Gymnast of the Week award following a career-best performance against Missouri, the league office announced Tuesday.
Jordan shattered her career high in the all-around with a 39.600 to help No. 1 LSU score the first 198 in program history as the Tigers knocked off Missouri, 198.050-194.825, on Feb. 28 in the Maravich Center.
It marked Jordan’s third all-around title of the season and the fifth of her career.
The Houston, Texas, native also tied for the vault title with a 9.925, sharing the title with fellow Tigers Kaleigh Dickson and Sarie Morrison. It is Jordan’s first vault title of the season and the second of her career.

The weekly award is the second of Jordan’s career. She was named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week after she won the all-around title at Georgia in 2012.
