BATON ROUGE – It will be a battle between No. 2 and No. 3 for the third straight week as the LSU gymnastics team remained third in the GymInfo national rankings released Monday.

LSU (7-2, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) will travel to Gainesville, Fla., this week to take on No. 2 Florida (6-0, 4-0) at 6 p.m. CT Friday in the O’Connell Center. This meet comes on the heels of back-to-back contests between LSU and Oklahoma when the Sooners were No. 2 and the Tigers were No. 3.

LSU beat Oklahoma in Norman, Okla., 197.650-197.325, on Feb. 9 and fell to the Sooners at the Metroplex Challenge on Saturday.
