BATON ROUGE - Four LSU student-athletes recently joined Baton Rouge Mayor-President Kip Holden at the Big Buddy Program’s Boys II Men Breakfast at Dalton Elementary.

Senior Andre Stringer (men’s basketball), junior Anthony Johnson (football), junior Justin Maclin (football) and senior Zach Mettenberger (football) attended the breakfast.

This event was held to provide the male students of Dalton Elementary with an opportunity to be exposed to influential, successful and caring men who want to invest in the lives of others.

Johnson was one of the key speakers for the breakfast.

“It is great to be able to do things like this for schools in the Baton Rouge community,” Johnson said.  “It was a heart-warming and humbling experience.”
