Football Lands at No. 13 in Polls, Initial BCS

BATON ROUGE -- After a weekend of upsets in the top half of the rankings, the LSU football team landed at No. 13 in this week's AP Top 25 and USA Today Coaches polls as well as the initial Bowl Championship Series standings on Sunday.

LSU (6-2, 3-2 SEC) returns for its Homecoming game against Furman (3-4, 2-2 Southern Conference) on Saturday at 6 p.m. CT in Tiger Stadium. Furman is a Football Championship Subdivision opponent and most recently beat Appalachian State, 27-10, in Greenville, S.C.

The game will be televised to residents of Louisiana and South Carolina on TigerVision - an in-house pay-per-view production this year available in high definition. Ordering details will be updated throughout the coming week at LSUsports.net/tigervision. Fans outside these states may find the game online at ESPN3.com and via cable and satellite providers in the ESPN GamePlan Package.
