BATON ROUGE – Thursday was this year’s Department of Residential Life Move-In Day on the LSU campus as students prepare for the start of the 2013 fall semester next week, and members of the LSU Soccer team were at Herget Hall to welcome students to campus and lend a helping hand as they moved into their dorm rooms.

Not only did 22 players take part in Move-In Day, but head coach Brian Lee, associate head coach Debbie Hensley and assistant coach Kevin Dempsey were also at Herget Hall to welcome students to campus.

Students are welcome to attend LSU’s season-opening match at the LSU Soccer Stadium on Friday night as they take on in-state rival Louisiana Tech with kickoff set for 7 p.m. CT. A Bengal Bound BBQ will be held prior to kickoff as free hamburgers and hot dogs will be available for the first 500 students in attendance who present a valid LSU student I.D.
