The Tigers will feature a strong home schedule this season, highlighted by a Monday Night Futbol match against national power BYU on Sept. 2 at 7 p.m. The Cougars open the 2013 campaign ranked as high as the No. 6 team in the country in the national polls in the wake of a 2012 season in which they earned a No. 1 national seed and advanced to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.

The Tigers will also play host to a pair of NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago in the conference season with home matches against Tennessee on Sept. 27 and Missouri on Oct. 11 in a pair of Friday night kickoffs at 7 p.m. CT. LSU’s home slate also features Louisiana-Monroe on Aug. 27, TCU on Aug. 30, Mississippi State on Sept. 29, Ole Miss on Oct. 18 and Georgia on Oct. 25.

The LSU Soccer program is also asking if any youth teams from the U-10 to U-12 levels are interested in serving as the official ball crews for upcoming matches to contact staff member Shannon McLain by phone at 225-578-3947 or by email at smclai3@tigers.lsu.edu.
