Nine Tigers on Media's Preseason All-SEC Teams

HOOVER, Ala. - Nine Tigers were named to the media's Preseason All-Southeastern Conference football teams, while the Tigers were picked third in the SEC Western Division.

Defensive tackle Anthony Johnson and safety Craig Loston led the LSU contingent with first-team nods, while linebacker Lamin Barrow was named to the second team. Linebacker Tahj Jones and defensive back Jalen Mills were on the defensive third team.

On the offensive side, four Tigers were listed on the third team including running back Alfred Blue, wide receiver Jarvis Landry and offensive linemen La'el Collins and Josh Williford.

Odell Beckham Jr. was named first-team return specialist and second-team all-purpose player.

Landry, Barrow and quarterback Zach Mettenberger will be joined by head coach Les Miles as the Tigers take their turn on the final day of SEC Media Day starting at 8:30 a.m. CT on Thursday.
