BATON ROUGE – LSU junior forward Johnny O'Bryant III has made his mark at two different camps this summer, participating last week in the NIKE Skills Academy in Union, N.J., and this week in the LeBron James Skills Camp in Las Vegas.
The Skills Academy in New Jersey was hosted by Amare Stoudemair.
GothamHoops.com said on its website of JOBIII: “After averaging 13.6 points and 8.6 rebounds a season ago, O’Bryant has the ability to rank among the premiere forwards in College Basketball in 2013-14, following a superb showing in the final day of the NIKE Skills Academy. Standing in at 6-9, 260 lbs., with a 7-1 1/2 wingspan, O’Bryant possesses a strong build, while proving mobile on the floor. In the post, the rising junior owns a high basketball IQ. With the ball, a patient O’Bryant analyzes the defender before executing one of many effective moves within his offensive arsenal.”
O’Bryant III was one of just 23 college players invited to the James Skills Camp, which concluded on Monday night.
