BATON ROUGE – Two members of the 2012-13 LSU women’s golf team were named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association Academic Scholars list the associated announced.

In all over Divisions I, II and III a total of 644 women’s collegiate golfers were recognized with this prestigious honor. The criteria for selection to the Academic Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics with the minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

The LSU representatives were Ali Lucas of Crowley, who will be a senior for the 2013-14 team, is majoring in interdisciplinary studies, while Nadine Dreher (Vienna, Austria), who will be a sophomore this coming season, is majoring in sports administration.
