BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU Lady Tigers (8-10, 1-7 SEC) added senior Kaitlin Burns to the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) singles rankings released Tuesday.

The senior joins the rankings at the No. 114 spot following two recent court-one conference victories, as she notched a 6-3, 6-2 win against Ole Miss’ 45th-ranked Caroline Rohde-Moe and a 6-0, 6-1 triumph over the University of Missouri’s No. 104 Cierra Gaytan-Leach.

LSU stands at No. 54 after two tight competitions on the road last weekend against No. 37 Ole Miss and Mississippi State.

Burns will compete in her final home matches this weekend, taking on the No. 2 University of Florida Friday at 3 p.m. CT and the No. 31 University of South Carolina Sunday at 12 p.m. CT at W.T. “Dub” Robinson Stadium.
