Men's Tennis Returns Home to Take on Michigan
BATON ROUGE - After playing six of their previous seven matches on the road, the No. 68 LSU men's tennis team (6-6) come back to Baton Rouge to face No. 40 Michigan (5-6) at the Dub on Sunday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m. CT.
The Tigers are coming off a dramatic 4-3 victory over No. 11 Texas A&M in College Station, Texas, on Friday night and are looking to keep this momentum.
"Michigan is a very good team," head coach Jeff Brown said. "Most of their losses have been to top teams, so we understand the level that we're going to play against. Hopefully we can have people come out and help us pick up another win."
Most of Michigan's losses have come from ranked opponents. They have lost to No. 14 California, No. 9 Duke, Notre Dame, No. 19 Tulsa, No. 12 Pepperdine, and No. 21 Texas.
The Wolverines started the season 4-1 before losing five straight matches, but they were able to pick up a 4-3 win over Michigan State in East Lansing, Mich., on March 14.
Admission for the match is free and free crawfish will be served 45 minutes prior to the match.
