BATON ROUGE - For the second time this season, LSU sophomore gymnast Lloimincia Hall has earned Southeastern Conference Specialist of the Week recognition, the league office announced Tuesday.
Hall earned a perfect 10.0 on floor to clinch LSU's season-high 197.500 against Alabama.
A native of Dallas, Texas, Hall is the only gymnast in the nation to score two 10.0's this season as she recorded her first 10 on floor at Missouri on Feb. 8.
She is the first LSU gymnast to score two 10's in one season since Ashleigh Clare-Kearney in 2008, and she is the first Tiger to post two 10's on floor in the same season since April Burkholder in 2004.
Hall also added a solid 9.85 on beam and a 9.70 on bars against Alabama to help LSU record the highest team score in a meet since 2008.
This marks the second time Hall has received SEC Specialist of the Week this season, and it is her third SEC honor this year as she picked up gymnast of the week recognition for her performance against Florida. She also earned specialist of the week after the meet against Missouri.
This is the eighth SEC weekly honor overall for the Tigers this season. To go along with Hall's three honors, Rheagan Courville has earned gymnast of the week twice, Sarie Morrison has earned specialist of the week twice, and Maliah Mathis has earned specialist of the week once.
