BATON ROUGE - Just hours after winning its sixth straight game with a dominating 67-52 win at No. 13 Texas A&M, the LSU women's basketball team has earned the No. 6 seed in next week's Southeastern Conference Tournament and will face No. 11 seed Auburn at 7:30 p.m. CT Thursday in the Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Ga.

The bracket was unveiled Sunday evening after the completion of regular season play. The winner of the LSU-Auburn contest will take on No. 3 seed Georgia, who earned a bye, in the quarterfinals at 7:30 p.m. CT Friday. No. 2 seed Kentucky is also on the Lady Tigers' side of the bracket.

All first, second and quarterfinal round games will be broadcast on Fox Sports Net Southwest and streamed online at ESPN3.com and the Watch ESPN App via tablets.

The Lady Tigers (19-10, 10-6 SEC) are playing their best basketball of the season with six consecutive wins and a 10-win SEC season for the second straight year under head coach Nikki Caldwell. LSU reached the championship game of last year's SEC Tournament in Caldwell's first season before losing to Tennessee.

Auburn enters Thursday's game with a 16-13 overall record and a 5-11 mark in SEC play. The Tigers were a 74-65 winner over Mississippi State on Sunday. LSU and Auburn met on the Plains in January and the Lady Tigers pulled out a 59-55 win to ignite a four-game road winning streak.

LSU will depart for Duluth, Ga., on Tuesday afternoon via a charter flight.
