BATON ROUGE - Single-game tickets for each of LSU softball's 23 home dates for the upcoming 2013 season are now available. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for youth ages 3-12 except for the "Pack for the Park" game against Missouri on April 19 where all tickets have been reduced to $1.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.LSUtix.net, the official website of LSU Athletics. Ticket also can be bought in person at the ticket office on the first floor of the Athletics Administration Building or by calling (225) 578-2184 or (800) 960-8587. Purchasing season tickets for $75 is the only way to guarantee great seats for LSU's marquee home schedule that features 15 games against 2012 NCAA Tournament participants.
For the fourth straight season, LSU has sold over 600 season tickets and sold out of chair back seating. Limited bleacher seating in sections 101, 106 and 107 located directly behind the first and third base dugouts is available as of Monday morning confirmed by the LSU Athletics Ticket Office.
The Tigers will welcome SEC newcomer Missouri in a rematch of last season's NCAA Columbia Super Regional along with defending national champion Alabama during consecutive weekends in April. LSU also will meet Kentucky and South Carolina for SEC three-game series. The Tiger Classic (Feb. 8-10) and Purple & Gold Challenge (Feb. 15-17) features a trio of 2012 NCAA squads in North Carolina, North Dakota State and Tulsa.
LSU, ranked No. 10 in the preseason NFCA Top 25 poll, is one week away from 2013 opening weekend where the Tigers will play host to Hampton, No. 22 North Carolina, Purdue and Tulsa as part of the Tiger Classic from February 8-10.
