BATON ROUGE - The LSU Lady Tigers tennis team (11-7; 4-3 SEC) will host the No. 17 Ole Miss Rebels (12-7, 4-3) for sole possession of second place in the Southeastern Conference Western Division in Dub Robinson Stadium at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday.
The Lady Tigers have won four of their last five matches, including a 5-2 defeat of Mississippi State in their most recent outing on Friday at the Dub.
Ole Miss also won on Friday against Arkansas 6-1 to remain three matches behind first-place No. 13 Alabama.
"Ole Miss presents a great opportunity for us," LSU head coach Tony Minnis said. "Every time we play them it's a battle. I expect a very, very tough match."
Whitney Wolf clinched the proceedings against Mississippi State, and she has emerged victorious in three of her last four singles matchups.
In singles, Howlett is 11-6 this spring with a team-best 7-3 record on court two. Vlaar is 9-6 on the dual match season.
LSU is 15-23 against Ole Miss all-time, but the Lady Tigers won a 4-3 decision in Oxford last season.
