BATON ROUGE -- After spending the weekend in Alabama, the 25th-ranked LSU men's tennis team returns home to get ready for their busy week that begins Tuesday when they host the University of South Florida at 3 p.m. at the W.T. 'Dub' Robinson Stadium.

LSU (8-4, 2-2 SEC) is coming off a tough 5-2 loss to SEC foe, No. 27 Auburn, and is looking to get back on track this week.

"I think it was a good sign that already on the bus on our way home from Auburn, the guys were already talking about getting back out there for this match," head coach Jeff Brown said. "I think that shows that we have a hungry team and are ready to get back out there and perform at a high level."

After experiencing two rough defeats, the 38th-ranked pair of Olivier Borsos and Chris Simpson look to rebound and prove they still belong in the No. 38 spot.

Meanwhile, the Tigers will need No. 39 Neal Skupski and James Turbervill to stay hot if they want a chance at the doubles point.

In singles, senior Tom Knights currently is 9-2 on the season and 3-1 in SEC play. Knights hopes to keep his three-match win streak alive with a win on Tuesday.

USF is 3-8 on the season. The two teams last met in 2010. The Tigers are 9-0 all-time against the USF Bulls.
