HOUSTON -- LSU tennis duo Roger Anderson and Stefan Szacinski cruised by their opponent Sunday to clinch the flight A doubles final at the Rice Invitational in Houston, Texas.
Anderson and Szacinski handed Arkansas' Greg Lehmann and Mike Ward a quick 8-1 loss to earn the flight A doubles championship.
"It was a successful tournament," head coach Jeff Brown said. "We played a lot and won a lot. With the doubles championship and our other victories throughout the weekend, we have a lot of positive momentum to build off of for our next tournament."
In singles, the Tigers finished strong, with victories by David Roberts, Stefan Szacinski and Matt Zachary.
James Turbervill did not compete Sunday due to injury.
The Tigers will compete next in the ITA All-American Championships beginning October 3.
