BATON ROUGE - LSU wide receiver Russell Shepard has been ruled eligible to play for the LSU football team beginning with the Tigers' fourth game of the season at West Virginia on September 24.
Shepard was declared ineligible on August 25 for violation of an NCAA rule and LSU immediately applied for his reinstatement. The NCAA ruled that Shepard would be reinstated after a three-game suspension.
