Three Baseball Games to be on ESPN Networks

BATON ROUGE - The LSU baseball team will make three appearances on ESPN networks during the 2011 regular season, according to the TV schedule announced Thursday by the Southeastern Conference.

ESPN networks will offer a vast schedule of SEC baseball games during the year. LSU will appear on ESPNU on April 9 at Arkansas and on April 28 versus Kentucky, and the Tigers will appear on ESPN2 on April 24 at Vanderbilt.

ESPNU's previously announced inaugural Thursday Night SEC Baseball Game of the Week will begin Thursday, Apr. 7, at 6:30 p.m. and run seven weeks through May 19. In addition to the Thursday night games, SEC baseball will have 11 other games, including the SEC Championship Sunday, May 29 on ESPN2.
