BATON ROUGE - LSU's season-finale against Arkansas will be played the day after Thanksgiving for the next two years, the Southeastern Conference announced on Tuesday.

The Tigers and the Hogs will play on Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 in Tiger Stadium and then again on Friday, Nov. 23, 2012, in Little Rock. Both games will kickoff at 1:30 p.m. CT and will be televised nationally by CBS.

LSU and Arkansas met on the day after Thanksgiving for 13 straight years from 1996 to 2008 before playing on Saturday for the past two seasons. The Tigers and Hogs play annually in the Battle for the Boot, which is a 24-karat gold trophy molded in the shape of Louisiana and Arkansas.
