What is the LSU National L Club?
The LSU National L Club is an organization formed to support former varsity athletes, athletic trainers, equipment managers, and cheerleaders. It provides the opportunity for letterwinners to maintain relationships across different sports, generations, and geographical locations, and allows them to remain actively involved in Tiger Athletics.
Mission Statement:
No one speaks of LSU Athletics without mentioning its great tradition. This great tradition has been built over the last hundred years through the hard work and dedication of the men and women who have worn Purple and Gold.
The LSU National L Club is an organization designed to promote and preserve the friendships and loyalties enjoyed by all former letterwinners of LSU. The L Club supports the Athletic Department, acts as a liaison between former athletes and the Athletic Department, and encourages lifelong participation with LSU Athletics for all varsity letterwinners by promoting the proud tradition of being a varsity letterwinner.
As a group, our purpose is to help current student-athletes excel not only in athletic competition and academics, but also to help them become good citizens eager to lend a helping hand. The L Club helps former athletes by providing a gathering facility for LSU home games and networking opportunities for former players and business. We strive to support and to provide a link between former players and the Athletic Department.
Who is eligible to join the LSU National L Club?
Any former student-athlete, equipment manager, athletic trainer, or cheerleader that received a varsity letter from an LSU athletic team is eligible to join the LSU National L Club.
Varsity letters can only be awarded to an individual by the head coach that served as the head coach of a sport during the years the individual participated.
At this time, there are no associate memberships for non-letterwinners.
How much does it cost to join?
Recent Graduate: (Free)
Free to all letterwinners that completed their degree in Fall, Spring or Summer of 2009 or 2010.

Varsity Annual: ($300)
Includes all membership benefits listed below.
Varsity dues include a generous donation that supports L Club operations and the L Club facility renovation.
Lifetime: ($2,500)
Lifetime membership is a one-time payment.
Includes all membership benefits listed and any additional benefits provided in the future.
Lifetime dues support L Club operations and the L Club facility renovation.

Your donations support the many important L Club projects including: L Club Room renovations, awards for current student-athletes, and all of the exciting events that occur throughout the year. Help keep "The Tradition" alive!

How do I join and how do I pay?
New members can join the L Club by printing and filling out this form (.pdf). Membership payments are accepted in the form of cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. Membership forms and payment can be mailed to:

Where does my donation go?
Your L Club membership dues and donations help revive the L Club facility, as well as support reunions, special events, and the L Club awards program.

Where is the L Club room located?
The L Club Room is located under the Tiger Athletic Foundation offices on the South side of the Pete Maravich Assembly Center facing North Stadium Drive.
Unfortunately, at this time there is no handicap access to the L Club room. Anyone requiring assistance down the steps into the L Club room may notify us in advance, and we will be happy to accommodate you.
