BATON ROUGE -- LSU made some additional changes to next year’s football schedule on Thursday, adding Louisiana-Monroe to the 2010 slate and moving Southern Miss to the 2011 season.
The Tigers will host Louisiana-Monroe in Tiger Stadium on Nov. 13, 2010 after LSU agreed to move its game with Southern Miss, originally scheduled for that day, to the 2011 season. LSU will now play Southern Miss on Nov. 12, 2011 in Tiger Stadium.
LSU is 1-0 all-time against Louisiana-Monroe, beating the Warhawks, 49-7 to open the 2003 season. The Tigers are 1-1 against Southern Miss, losing to the Golden Eagles, 20-18, in the last meeting between the teams in 1994.
LSU’s 2010 schedule is now complete, while the Tigers still need one home game to finish the 2011 schedule.
