Approved labor service
The Pete Maravich Assembly Center is a non-union building. Stagehand labor must be coordinated through the facility.

For all major events, labor is outsourced.

Ticketing Fees
Restoration Fee (per contract) $1.00/ticket sold
Printing Fee $.25/ticket (sold and comps)

First Stage Call of day is 4-hour minimum
Second Stage Call of day is 3-hour minimum
Show Call is 4-hour minimum; any time exceeding 8-hours is overtime
Holidays are paid at time and a half

Equipment Rental Rates
A $350 flat fee will be charged for usage of all Maravich Center equipment
Video Board Fees $3,500 total cost, plus additional expenses for labor.

Security and Safety

Insurance Policy
All events scheduled at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center must provide a mimimum of $1,000,000 general liability insurance policy. The Pete Maravich Assembly Center and LSU Board of Supervisors must be named as Additional Insured. A copy of the insurance certificate indicating these requirements must be provided to the Maravich Center prior to the event.

No Smoking Policy
The Pete Maravich Assembly Center is a smoke-free facility. A designated smoking area outside of the arena will be provided at events.

Alcohol Policy
No alcohol is served at events at the Maravich Center. Private parties may serve alcohol after being approved by the Vice Chancellor of Business Affairs. Forms for approval are available at the Maravich Center office.

Pyrotechnics
Contact our Operations Department for information. Permits require written application, fee and on site inspection from the Fire Marshall, and they must be completed at least 10 days prior to the performance. Only a licensed-trained professional is to produce the pyrotechnical portion of the show.

First Aid
First aid is provided by the Red Cross at a charge of $100 per station. Ambulance service is available through Acadian Ambulance at an additional cost.

Search Procedure
The Pete Maravich Assembly Center reserves the right to determine if a visual or full search is used on any bags or patrons entering any event.

From the North (Airport):
Take I-110 to I-10 East. Follow Dalrymple exit. Turn right. Follow Dalrymple through the LSU Campus to North Stadium Drive. The Maravich Center will be on the right.

From the South (New Orleans):
Take I-10 West to the Dalrymple exit. Follow the exit to the right. Follow Dalrymple through the LSU Campus to North Stadium Drive. The Maravich Center will be on the right.

From the East (Hammond):
Take I-12 West to I-10 West. Follow I-10 West to the Dalrymple exit. Follow Dalrymple through the LSU Campus to North Stadium Drive. The Maravich Center will be on the right.

From the West (Lafayette): Take I-10 East across the Mississippi River Bridge to the Nicholson Exit. Follow Nicholson to the LSU Campus. Take a left on North Stadium Drive. The Maravich Center will be on the left.
