JUNIOR SEASON (2002)
Suffered a broken bone in his left arm during the Louisiana-Lafayette game and underwent surgery to repair the bone the following week ... Returned to the field against Alabama, six weeks to the day after breaking the arm ... Served with Domanick Davis as a two-headed running back for the Tigers and the two combined for 1,406 yards on 309 carries and nine touchdowns ... Returned to the field against Virginia Tech to open the season after suffering a torn ACL during the 2001 SEC Championship game ... Carried the ball 10 times for 46 yards and a score against the Hokies ... Had 85 yards on six carries and a touchdown the next week against the Citadel ... Recorded his seventh career 100-yard rushing game with 111 yards on 17 carries against Miami (Ohio) ... Became the ninth player in school history to gain at least 2,000 rushing yards when he gained his first seven yards in his return against Alabama ... LSU's starting tailback for 12 games ... Missed miss the Sugar Bowl after tearing ACL in left knee in second quarter vs. Tennessee in SEC Championship game ... A First-Team All-SEC pick at running back by both the AP and the Coaches ... Rushed for 992 yards and an SEC-record tying 19 TD's ... Led the SEC in touchdowns and total points (114) and ranked second in the league in rushing yards (992) and yards per game (82.7) ... Had four 100-yard games for the Tigers in 2001, all LSU victories ... LSU was 8-0 in games in which Toefield played from start to finish in 2001 ... REDSHIRT FRESHMAN SEASON (2000)
Led all freshman running backs in the SEC with 682 yards rushing on 165 carries and five touchdowns despite missing the last two regular-season games of the year ... Went down early in the first quarter against Ole Miss with a sprained knee ... Sat out the Arkansas game ... Returned at full strength against Georgia Tech in the Peach Bowl and rushed for 78 yards on 22 carries ... The 682 yards rushing ranks third among freshmen in LSU history and also ranks in the top 20 in SEC history for freshmen ... Had a pair of 100-yard rushing games, both of which came against two of the toughest teams in the nation against the run - Tennessee and Mississippi State ... Rushed for 120 yards and one touchdown vs. Tennessee ... Scored on a 74-yard run against the Vols on a play that was named ESPN's Play of the Week for Sept. 30 ...
