ESPN GameDay Airs at 8 a.m.; Jones Guest Picker

BATON ROUGE -- For the first time since the 2009 season, ESPN College Gameday will broadcast from the LSU campus as the popular Saturday show airs live from the LSU Parade Grounds beginning at 8 a.m. CT.

College GameDay will air live at 8 a.m. CT on ESPNU and at 9-11 a.m. on ESPN with host Chris Fowler, analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, and host/reporter Samantha Steele.

Fans are invited to arrive early Saturday. In addition, several ESPN personalities will be filming segments for SportsCenter and College Football Live throughout the day on Friday. Segments for SportsCenter will be shot at 11 a.m., while College Football Live featuring Tom Rinaldi and David Pollack airs at 2 p.m. CT.

Olympic athlete Lori "Lolo" Jones will join the College GameDay Built by The Home Depot (@CollegeGameDay) cast for the guest picker segment. A track and field star at LSU, Jones was an 11-time All-American and three-time NCAA Championship where she specialized in hurdles. She competed with U.S. track and field in the 2008 and 2012 Olympics and most recently, Jones was named to the U.S. national bobsled team, giving her the chance to earn a spot on the bobsled World Cup circuit.

This is the 20th time that LSU is involved in a game with ESPN College GameDay on location, and it is the ninth time the show has aired from Baton Rouge. The Tigers have now made at least one appearance on the popular show in each of the past 10 seasons.

LSU is 14-5 in games in which ESPN College GameDay is on hand. LSU made five appearances last season.
