Football Completes '12 Non-Conference Schedule

BATON ROUGE - LSU rounded out its non-conference schedule for 2012 on Wednesday as the Tigers will host Towson University on Sept. 29 in Tiger Stadium.
The Towson contest will be one of eight home games for LSU in 2012. The Tigers will play four non-conference games in Tiger Stadium along with four league games at home. The SEC schedule will be released at a later date.
Towson, located in Towson, Md., is a member of the Football Championship Subdivision and plays in the Colonial Athletic Association. It will be the first meeting between LSU and Towson in football.
The two teams met in basketball in November of 2001 with LSU winning, 83-46, in the Maravich Center.
