Camp Staff
Directed by Pauline Zernott. The LSU Spirit Director/Head Coach has 25 years of cheerleading,
dance and gymnastics experience. Pauline is in her 14th year as the LSU Spirit Director. Prior to overseeing
the LSU Spirit program, she was the LSU cheerleading coach for 9 years. In addition, Pauline has been a head camp instructor for Universal Cheerleader Association camps throughout the United States, Japan and Europe. Camp staff will include current and former members of the LSU cheerleaders and Tiger Girls.

Location
The Pete Maravich Assembley Center will be the location of the camp. Each day your child will be signed in and out of camp at the North West entrance of the PMAC. Camp will be downstairs in the auxiliary gym and we will use the multipurpose room for lunch and special activities.

What does my child wear?
Your child should wear comfortable clothing. Most children wear t-shirts and knit shorts.
No sandals please! Tennis shoes are necessary. You child is welcome to wear her LSU cheerleader uniform if she has one however it is not necessary.

Can I stay and watch?
Children do better if they are dropped off. You may feel comfortable staying for a few minutes to make sure your child feels comfortable; however it is best if you observe the final day “pep rally” to see all that your child has learned.

Can my child be in the same group as her friend?
Certainly! The girls are broken up by age. We like to keep same age children together however it is possible your child can be placed with a friend. On the registration from make a note of the name of the child you wish your child to be with.

Should my child do the all day session or half day?
Kindergarten and above are usually fine doing the all-day session. Generally if they are use to a school environment they do fine at the full day session.

Is lunch served?
For full day campers lunch is offered. Pizza and a drink can be purchased for $5. Snacks are also available for $1

The LSU tennis programs are excited to welcome players ages (6-18) to participate in the Tiger Tennis Camps at our brand new tennis facility this summer. Our campers will be led by men’s coach Jeff Brown and women’s coach Julia S. Sell. Assistant coaches Danny Bryan and Tristan Venables will also work with all of our campers. There is one four-day camp and three, week long camps available. There are three options for campers: half day, full day and overnight.

Take advantage of the first Tiger Tennis Camp in the new facility. With six courts indoors and 12 outdoors, there’s an opportunity for everyone. The new indoor facility gives campers an option to play indoors during the Louisiana summers.
