BATON ROUGE -- The LSU Football Coaching Clinic will go on as scheduled despite damage to the indoor football facility, director of external football relations Charles Baglio said this morning.
Baglio said that today’s schedule will remain the same with registration beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the LSU Football Operations Building. The high school coaches will watch the Tigers practice, followed by a 7 p.m. meeting with Les Miles and breakout sessions by positions at 7:15 tonight. All of these events will take place at the LSU Football Operations Building.
Friday’s schedule has all of the events being moved to the Sheraton in downtown Baton Rouge due to the indoor football facility being unavailable. Friday’s registration starts at 8:30 in the atrium at the Sheraton. The clinic gets started on Friday at 9:30 a.m. with a presentation by LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis.
Archie Manning will speak to the group of coaches at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow in the atrium at the Sheraton.
The clinic concludes on Saturday at 11 a.m. with an LSU football scrimmage in Tiger Stadium.
