BATON ROUGE -- LSU’s annual Tiger Tour featuring head football coach Les Miles will make a total of 12 stops across the region beginning on April 29 in Alexandria and concluding on July 30 in Baton Rouge. This year the tour will roll into Atlanta, Ga., for the first time on June 11.

The annual LSU Tiger Tour 2009, which is presented by Capital One Bank, CST and Eagle 98.1 FM, is a joint venture by the Tiger Athletic Foundation, the LSU Foundation and the LSU Alumni Association, all of which are collaborating to support the Forever LSU Campaign.

This year’s tour will feature Miles, along with first year men’s basketball coach Trent Johnson, women’s basketball coach Van Chancellor, LSU Athletic Director Joe Alleva, LSU Chancellor Dr. Michael Martin and General Ron Richard, who serves as CEO of the TAF.

Baseball coach Paul Mainieri will join the tour once his season concludes. In addition, former Tiger head coach Paul Dietzel will be on site at several events promoting his book, “Call Me Coach” and signing autographs.

Other features on this year’s tour include the Capital One Photo Area; the CST Trivia Challenge where fans can win prize packs courtesy of CST and TAF; and the popular TAF Silent Auction, which features memorabilia from past Tigers greats. There will be LSU merchandise on sale at the events courtesy of the LSU Alumni Store.

Event times and ticket prices vary for each tour stop.

All times and prices are available at the LSU Tiger Tour website at www.lsutigertour.com and the Tiger Athletic Foundation website at www.lsutaf.org.
