BATON ROUGE -- LSU’s ticket allotment for the 2008 Chick-fil-A Bowl has been utilized and no more tickets are available for purchase.

LSU was allocated 15,000 tickets for the Tigers’ bowl game to be played against Georgia Tech on Wednesday night in Atlanta and Tiger fans purchased 13,200 of those tickets.  The remaining 1,800 are being distributed to military personnel and youth in the Atlanta area.

“We’re pleased the LSU section will be full in the Georgia Dome on Wednesday night,” said LSU director of athletics Joe Alleva.  “Our fans who followed the Tigers all season really stepped up again and will be showing up in big numbers in Atlanta.”

The Tigers arrived in Atlanta on Christmas Day and have been practicing daily in preparation for the bowl game on Wednesday.  Game time is 6:30 p.m. Central, 7:30 p.m. Eastern and will be televised by ESPN.
