BATON ROUGE -- The Southeastern Conference made it official on Thursday as the league announced that LSU's game against Arizona on Sept. 9 in Tiger Stadium will be televised by ESPN2 and will carry a 5:30 p.m. start time.

The LSU-Arizona contest will be a re-match of the Tigers' 59-13 win over the Wildcats in Tucson in 2003.

The Arizona contest is the third national telecast for LSU in 2006 that has been announced by the league office. LSU also has nationally televised games against Auburn and Arkansas, both of which will be carried by CBS.

The Tigers open their second year under Les Miles on Sept. 2 when they host Louisiana-Lafayette in Tiger Stadium.
