Volleyball Hosts South Carolina for Senior Tribute

BATON ROUGE - The LSU volleyball team (11-15, 6-9 SEC) plays host to South Carolina (19-6, 10-5 SEC) for Senior Tribute on Sunday at 3 p.m. in the PMAC. The match will air on SEC Network+ with Garrett Walvoord on the call. Fans can access the match on the WatchESPN app and via live stats at LSUStats.com.

Series History with the Field
The Tigers lead the all-time series over South Carolina, 25-17, but the Tigers fell in the last meeting, falling in three sets on the road in Columbia.
>> The Tigers return home for a two-game swing in the PMAC, starting with the Senior Tribute on Sunday at 3 p.m. against South Carolina, celebrating the four seniors in Lindsay Flory, Olivia Beyer, Toni Rodriguez and Katie Kampen.
>> These four seniors has the highest GPA as a class in LSU volleyball program history, holding a 3.864 cumulative GPA. The class has also done their part off the court, totaling 573.4 hours of community service.
>> LSU is coming off a straight-set loss to No. 13 Florida on Friday, falling by scores of 24-26, 19-25, 22-25.
>> Bannister is ranked sixth among the league in kills per set at 4.17. She is also fourth in points per set at 4.62.
>> Prior to the Floriday match on Friday, the Tigers hit .290 in the previous four matches. The Tigers got 14.3 kills per set and 16.1 digs per set.
>> Cianciulli has a career total of 969 digs, just 31 digs away from 1,000 mark. If she reaches 1,000 this season, she’ll be the fastest player to reach the 1,000 dig club in program history.
>> Cianciulli ranks second among the league in digs per set at 4.80. The Tigers also rank second in the SEC in digs per set at 15.56.
>> The Tigers enter the season with a total of 294 SEC victories. With the victory over Arkansas last Sunday, the Tigers reached 300, which is the third-most in the league behind Florida and Kentucky.
>> Head coach Fran Flory is in her 21st season at the helm of the LSU volleyball program. The winningest coach in school history, Flory has led the Tigers to NCAA Tournament appearances in nine of the last 13 seasons.
