Softball's Series Finale with Kentucky Rained Out

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Due to heavy rain conditions, the eighth-ranked LSU softball team's series finale with No. 24/23 Kentucky has been rained out. A make-up game will not be scheduled.
The game was in the fourth inning when the weather delay started. The game officials called the game at approximately 8:54 p.m. ET.
Due to NCAA rules, it does not count as an official contest and no records or stats will count.
Next up, LSU returns to Baton Rouge to play host to the LSU Round Robin, featuring BYU, Baylor and North Dakota State. LSU's first game will take place Thursday, at 6 p.m. CT against BYU.
