BATON ROUGE – The LSU gymnastics team’s regular season home finale against Arizona on Saturday, March 17, will begin at 4 p.m., officials announced.
The meet against the Wildcats will be the final time seniors Lauren Li, Erin Macadaeg and Myia Hambrick compete in the Maravich Center. One of the most successful senior classes in school history, the trio has never lost in the Maravich Center, owning a 22-0 record in the building. The group has been a part of two trips to the NCAA Super Six, including back-to-back runner-up finishes.
Tickets for the meet are on sale at LSUtix.net and fans are encouraged to purchase before the meet. Any season ticket holders not able to make the meet against Arizona are reminded to use the ticket forwarding program.
Already in 2018, fans have rewrote the record books. Against Alabama in January, the program set the record for a single meet with 13,729 fans in attendance. LSU has broken the total attendance number for a season with 60,764 fans after five meets and is expected to shatter the previous average attendance record of 10,050 set last year.
The season ticket holder list for new or additional tickets is open now. Current season ticket holders looking to renew will be able to do so later this spring.
