FRESHMAN SEASON (2017-18)
Embarked on one of the most prolific and dominant freshman seasons in LSU women’s tennis history … Compiled a 28-6 overall singles record … Her 18-2 dual singles record was the highest regular-season winning percentage (.900) in the SEC … Recorded four wins against ranked opponents playing across the top three courts … Compiled a 19-8 doubles record along with partner Jessica Golovin with eight wins against ranked doubles teams, including six wins against top-15 opponents … Advanced to the final round of the NCAA Doubles Championships for the first time in program history and then won the doubles title for the first NCAA Championship in the history of LSU women’s tennis … Picked up a career-best win over the No. 5-ranked Ole Miss pairing of Arianne Hartono and Alexa Bortles in the NCAA Round of 16 to go along with wins over the No. 24, No. 12, No. 33 and No. 14-ranked pairings during her championship run … Went on a team-best 16-match win streak in singles during the dual season, capped off by a career-best win over Florida’s No. 14 Anna Danilina in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament … Became just the fourth player in LSU women’s tennis history to be selected to both the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships in the same season … Was named to both First Team All-SEC and SEC All-Freshman Team … Selected as the ITA Rookie of the Year for the Southern region … Became the 11th player in program history to receive ITA All-American honors … Earned her first varsity letter.
