Daigle Falls in NCAA Singles; Doubles Next

ATHENS, Ga. – LSU's Jordan Daigle completed his singles career after falling to No. 32 Or Ram-Harel of Tulsa, 6-3, 6-4, in the first round of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Singles Championship Wednesday morning at the Dan Magill Tennis Center.
No. 35 Daigle finishes the season with a 13-10 record and accumulated wins against six ranked opponents.
During his three seasons as a Tiger, the two-time All-SEC Second team member tallied 38 singles victories, including 13 wins over ranked opponents and one win against a top-10 opponent.
The Lafayette, Louisiana native will now look toward the doubles portion of the tournament, where he will be vying to become LSU's first three-time doubles All-American.
The two-time All-American along with partner Justin Butsch will compete against William Blumberg and Robert Kelly of North Carolina. The Tiger duo is No. 26 in the nation and has a 15-11 record on the year while the Tarheel pair is No. 12 and has a 20-7 record.
The winner of the match will advance to face either Julian Cash and Arjun Kadhe of Oklahoma State or Brandon Holt and Riley Smith of USC.
